What does it actually take to book the job? What are casting directors really listening for in a pop/rock audition? And do singers really need to sing high and loud to stand out?

Voice teachers are expected to prepare students for auditions at every level, from community theatre and college programs to professional work, but rarely do they get insight from the other side of the table.

Join CCM Vocal Pedagogy Institute Artistic Director Matt Edwards and NYC casting director Jenny Ravitz-Brightman for a candid, behind-the-scenes conversation about what casting professionals truly want. Drawing on Ravitz-Brightman’s experience behind the table, this webinar will explore how to align studio training with the realities of today’s audition landscape from community theatre to college auditions to Broadway.
